if we are not there now, we will be.

Kennedy zone

Kennedy Elementary School is located northwest of downtown Houston, in the Independence Heights Super Neighborhood. The school attendance boundaries are approximately East Rogers Street to the north, Neyland Street and the Pacific Railroad to the south, Airline Drive/ I-45 to the east, and North Shepherd Drive to the west.

The goal of the Kennedy Zone Visioning Project is to collaborate with Kennedy Elementary staff, students, and families alongside the Houston Trial Lawyers Foundation to ensure that children have safe and beautiful routes to school. Recognizing that area schools are the heart of our communities, connectivity to and from them are vital for thriving, healthy, and engaged neighborhoods.
