Community planning efforts are only as good as the commitment of that same community to fully engage and participate in the process, to own the results, and to be committed to seeing it through.

OUR Northline Plan was developed through a collaborative resident-driven process that created a shared vision for a strong, safe, and supportive neighborhood. Funded through a grant from the Wells Fargo Regional Foundation the action plan outlines clear steps to transform education, economic development, family wealth, health, housing, infrastructure, neighborhood beautification, parks and community amenities and safety—and metrics to measure success over time.

The plan was guided by the community leadership team, partner agencies both inside and outside of the neighborhood, and more than 500 people who participated in the planning process over the course of a year. The OUR Northline plan is a guide, or a roadmap, to the future. The plan resulted in a $750,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Regional Foundation for implementation.
